FIGMENTS OF IMAGINATION

FIGMENTS OF IMAGINATION

~ SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE A FIGMENT OF MY OWN IMAGINATION. ~

- Lily Tomlin

Maria was one of those people who was intuitively in-tune with the natural world around her. Much to the chagrin of her parents and teachers, growing up, she was often distracted seeking out the universe's patterns.

As her experiences amassed, Maria understood the underlying currents of the ecosystem. Everything was connected. Even in chaos, intricate networks exist, tying together seemingly unrelated bodies, spirits and beings.

It was how the universe communicated. A language without words, seen through the mind's eye, and instinctively understood through one's heart. The message was continuously evolving, ebbing to and fro like an ocean's tide.

"You don't need reason or logic to comprehend it," explained Maria, at the opening of her exhibition. "You need only be aware, ready to hear the call of the world and the cosmos. It will guide you to accomplish the seemingly impossible. It will help you unleash your true potential."

As the crowd stared at the creation she unveiled, they were mesmerised.

"How has she done this?"

"Is this sorcery or magic?"

"How is it even possible?"

Somehow, amazingly, Maria had transformed the underwater vegetation of a lakebed into an elaborate self-portrait. While some struggled with the mechanics that made it possible, others reflected on her words.

They began to understand that an untapped treasure trove of possibility existed in each of them – one they could harness to create something as phenomenal as Maria's 'Figments of Imagination'.
